Memory card offload with checksum verification
Offload on set with no checking by hand: every card is copied to one to four drives and checked by checksum. The day panel shows what is already copied, what is copying now and which cards are not yet safe to format.
Other systems: Mac with Intel or Windows
Reliable copies and a day panel
Every card is copied to one to four drives and checked by checksum. The day panel shows what is already copied, what is copying now and which cards are not yet safe to format. The app itself never formats cards.
- Checksums xxHash64, xxh3, xxh128, MD5 and SHA-1. Next to every verified copy there is a list of files with checksums (ASC MHL v2 and MHL 1.1)
- Cards from different readers are copied at once; you can see when a card is free and when all copies will be ready
- Cascading copy: card → first drive → from it to the others, so the card can come out sooner
- If a card is pulled out mid-copy, only that card stops; insert it again and the app finishes the copy
- Take marks while copying: scene, take, “good take”, a note
- Re-reads and re-copies on a mismatch; no half-read files left behind
- A drive disconnects: the app waits for it or carries on without it
- An interrupted copy resumes where it stopped
- Progress per file and time left; offload progress on a phone by QR code, on the same Wi-Fi
- Rename files in the copies by your own pattern; the files on the card do not change

Project setup
Every camera and recorder has a letter, an angle, an operator, a lens, a LUT and a note for the editor. The app recognises a card by its files, sorts the footage into device folders, and the names carry through to the report and the tracks in your editing app.
- Camera names from the project setup reach the editing app as angles, tracks or bins, depending on how that app does it
- The operator's note goes into the report and along with the footage
- The day's crew goes into the report

How it works
- Fill in the project setup
Before the shoot: cameras and recorders, drives for the copies, the checksum, folders and file names in the copies.
- Insert the card
The app recognises the camera by its files and offloads the card to every selected drive. You can insert several cards at once.
- Wait for the check
Every copy is checked against the card, and a list of checksums (MHL) is placed next to it. When there are two verified copies on different drives, the card shows “Safe to format”.
- Wrap the day
In the evening, “Wrap the day”: the day report, an edit project on every copy drive and a handover note for the editor.
FAQ
How do I offload a card to two drives at once?
Choose the drives for the copies in the project setup and insert the card: the app copies it to every selected drive, from one to four, and checks every copy against the card by checksum.
How does checksum verification work during the copy?
The checksum is chosen in the project setup: xxHash64, xxh3, xxh128, MD5 or SHA-1. Every copy is checked against the card. Next to every verified copy there is a list of files with checksums (ASC MHL v2 and MHL 1.1). The app shows “Safe to format” only with two verified copies on different drives.
When is a card safe to format?
No, never. It only shows which cards are safe to format: that takes two verified copies on different drives. A single copy, or a copy in a cloud folder, doesn't count. Cards that aren't safe to format yet are marked red.
Can I rename files during the copy?
Yes, but only the copies on the drives: the name is built from blocks: project, shooting date, camera, original name, sequence number, your own text. The files on the card do not change. Cards with their own folder structure (for example XDCAM, P2, AVCHD) are copied with their original names, otherwise editing apps will not open them.
Does card copying replace dedicated DIT apps?
For most shoots, yes: copying to several drives at once, xxHash64/xxh3/xxh128/MD5/SHA-1 verification, ASC MHL, picture and sound QC, retries on errors, resuming an interrupted copy, checking copies against MHL, proxies and dailies, and a day report in HTML, PDF and CSV.
Does the app change my files?
Never. Source media is only read. Copies, proxies, sequences, corrected sound and reports are created as separate files.
