MultiSyncer Studio Privacy Policy
Version of 1 September 2026.
1. Who we are
The controller is Ruslan Ruslanovich Tishkin, individual entrepreneur, taxpayer ID (INN) 344111303700, registration number (OGRNIP) 324508100066380 ("we"). Contact for data questions: privacy@multisyncer.com.
This policy covers the MultiSyncer Studio application (the "Software"), the website multisyncer.com and the update and log servers.
2. In short
- Your footage stays with you. Video, sound, file names, folders, project titles and people's names never leave your computer: syncing, copying, verification and reports run locally.
- Logs only with your consent. Sending logs is off by default. You can turn it on in the settings and off at any time.
- We do not sell data, show ads or share data for advertising.
3. What data and why
3.1. Update checks (while update checks are on)
The Software asks updates.multisyncer.com whether a new version exists. The server receives the Software version, the system (macOS / Windows and processor type) and your IP address.
The server log keeps the IP address only as a salted hash: it lets us count the computers that checked for updates, but the address cannot be recovered from it. The log is size-limited (at most 20 files of 20 MB); old entries are deleted automatically.
Purpose: delivering updates and counting installations.
3.2. Error and sync logs (only if you turned sending on)
The Software sends to logs.multisyncer.com:
- the Software version, system and language;
- a random installation ID, created by the Software and not linked to the hardware, your name or e-mail;
- the log text with file names replaced by codes ("V1-3.MOV"), paths by "<path>" and track titles by "camera 1" / "sound 2";
- technical facts about the footage without names: clip counts, formats, durations, sync results.
The IP address is not stored; only its salted hash is kept, to limit how often logs can be sent.
Purpose: finding and fixing errors, improving synchronization.
Error logs and reports you send manually are also delivered to the developer by e-mail.
3.3. License
To get a key you give your name and e-mail address, and the Software shows a computer code. The computer code is a hash of the computer's ID: neither the ID nor any hardware details can be recovered from it. Your name, e-mail and the computer code are written into the key and kept in our record of issued keys.
Purpose: issuing and checking licenses, contacting you about the license and payment. Legal basis: performance of the contract (the license offer).
3.4. Payment
Payments are processed by YooKassa (YooMoney NBCO LLC). We never receive or store card details. The provider tells us the amount, the date and the e-mail address given at payment.
3.5. Support e-mails
"Report a problem or idea" messages and key requests are sent through your own mail app to support@multisyncer.com. We see your e-mail address and what you wrote, including the log if you attached it.
3.6. Features you connect yourself
- Telegram notifications. The Software sends copying messages directly to Telegram through a bot you created. The bot token is stored only on your computer. We do not receive these messages.
- Cloud copy. Footage is copied to the cloud storage you chose. We have no access to it.
- The phone progress page works in your local network and does not pass through our servers.
4. Where data is stored
- Update server: Russia, Moscow (AdminVPS hosting).
- Logs: Russia, Moscow (the same server, AdminVPS hosting). The author gets a short error notice (version, system, description and the end of the log) in Telegram; Telegram may process data outside Russia.
- Key records: our server in Russia (Moscow, AdminVPS hosting). Correspondence: our own mail server in Russia (the same server in Moscow).
5. How long
- Logs: 12 months, then deleted.
- Update server log: no longer than 12 months; old records are deleted automatically.
- License records: for the license term and 12 months after it ends.
- Correspondence: 12 months.
- Payment documents: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
6. Your rights
You may:
- ask which data about you we hold;
- have it corrected or deleted;
- withdraw consent to sending logs by turning sending off in the settings; have logs already sent deleted by writing to us with your installation ID (shown in the settings);
- complain to the data protection authority.
Send requests to privacy@multisyncer.com; we reply within 10 working days.
7. Security
Data is sent only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Updates are signed, and the Software installs only updates bearing our signature. Only the developer has access to the logs and key records.
8. Children
The Software is for professional work and is not intended for children under 14. We do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
New versions are published at multisyncer.com/privacy. We announce material changes in the Software's "What's new" window.
